Vitale Property Group has officially launched Byron Bay’s first new beachfront apartments in a decade as construction gets under way for the project in the tightly-held precinct.
EADE Byron Bay, which will deliver ultra-luxury collection of 25 private beachfront residences, is being developed on a 6,000sqm site on the corner of Shirley Street and Milton Street overlooking Main Beach at Byron Bay.
Residences in the boutique three-level project range from 206sqm to 622sqm, with prices starting from $4.75 million, which Vitale Property Group says positions EADE as one of Australia’s most exclusive beachfront developments.
The Byron Bay project comes on the heels of Vitale’s successful delivery of the $510 million Mondrian Hotel and Private Residences development at Burleigh Heads.
Vitale Property Group managing partner Chris Vitale says EADE Byron Bay was conceived to capture the “raw, effortless spirit” of the location while redefining luxury living on Australia’s east coast.
“Sites like this are incredibly rare and from the moment we secured it, we felt a deep responsibility to create something truly worthy of its setting,” he says.
“Every detail, from the architecture and landscaping to the interiors and amenities, has been carefully considered to reflect Byron’s natural beauty and relaxed sophistication.
“It’s not just about luxury, it’s about authenticity and a feeling that can’t be replicated.
“We wanted to create residences that belong here, and we’re proud to share that vision with the market now.”
With architecture by Hayball and interior design by Alexander & Co, EADE will include 10 Garden Apartments ranging from 284sqm to 622sqm with generous private gardens, nine of which feature private pools.
There will be five ultra-premium apartments and 10 Rooftop Terrace Apartments, all featuring private plunge pools and expansive outdoor entertaining spaces with protected outlooks across the beach.

EADE residents will also enjoy exclusive five-star hotel-style amenities, including a resort-style pool surrounded by subtropical gardens, a fully equipped gymnasium, sauna and cold plunge pool, dedicated workspaces and concierge services.
EADE Byron Bay is also aspiring to achieve 8-Star Green Star certification, incorporating energy-efficient systems, eco-sensitive materials and extensive landscaping to ensure harmony between the built form and its natural surroundings.
Vitale has enlisted Projx Australia in collaboration with WHITEFOX Projects to present the project to the market.
WHITEFOX Projects’ national projects director Phillip Rand says interest in EADE Byron Bay has been “exceptionally strong” ahead of the official launch, with enquiries from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Gold Coast buyers.
“EADE Byron Bay represents an extraordinary opportunity in one of Australia’s most tightly held coastal destinations,” says Rand.
“EADE is a truly unrepeatable project in both location and design, delivered by the proven experience and vision of Vitale Property Group.
“Representing the first beachfront development approved in Byron Bay in a decade, EADE Byron Bay brings a rare opportunity to live directly on the sands of Main Beach, overlooking the world-famous Wreck surf break.”
