US-headquartered global sportswear company Under Armour has announced a strategic investment in Australian custom teamwear provider ISC Sport (ISC) for an undisclosed sum, as part of plans to tap into the vibrant world of grassroots sports.
ISC was founded in Sydney in 1991 and currently serves more than 2,500 amateur clubs, leagues and schools, and has teamed up with major sporting teams over the years across different codes, including current deals with the Canberra Raiders, Hawthorn Football Club, and the NSW Waratahs.
As an official partner to major leagues and governing bodies, ISC connects with more than 800,000 athletes annually, and its reputation is underpinned by an agile made-to-order business model.
Through the new partnership, ISC’s existing product lines will transition to Under Armour Teamwear over the coming seasons, blending Under Armour’s global product knowledge, quality, and performance-driven designs with ISC’s deep local expertise and robust supply chain.
The first phase of the partnership will launch on January 30 2025, with the introduction of a basketball teamwear range and an online customiser tool, providing teams with a streamlined way to design bespoke uniforms that reflect their identity.

Under Armour Oceania's managing director Fernando Reani says Under Armour’s mission is to "make all athletes better".
