Australia's largest independently-owned music festival promoter Untitled Group has entered a partnership with Ticketmaster subsidiary Moshtix which will see the multinational take responsibility for ticketing at select uncontracted venues and greenfield sites nationwide.
The announcement comes just weeks after Untitled announced a partnership with Secret Sounds co-founder Jessica Ducrou to partner on her new touring venture Black Peach.
Ticketmaster Australia says its partnership with Untitled reflects a "strategic alignment between two leaders in the live entertainment space", with Ticketmaster and Moshtix providing the tools and support to help Untitled Group deliver the very best ticketing experience for fans across Australia.
"This partnership brings together two teams with a shared focus on delivering seamless, fan-first experience," says Ticketmaster's director for artist and promoter relations, Kane Kete, whose company will handle ticketing for Untitled's Wildlands festival along with various others.
"We’re looking forward to supporting Untitled Group’s continued growth with our local knowledge and global technology."
Melbourne-headquartered Untitled Group has clarified that its Beyond the Valley (BTV) festival, which recently came in the 92-82 bracket within DJ Mag’s list of the world's top 100 festivals for 2025, will still be ticketed by Perth-based Megatix with tickets going on sale in August.
Untitled and BTV have worked in partnership with Megatix on bespoke ticketing experience over recent years, including fast checkout and post-purchase data capture, ID wristbands, bulk check-ins, and a "choose your own adventure" purchase flow that helps customers navigate the large number of items and combinations that can be bought.
The partners also worked on custom dashboards to monitor real-time festival attendance and know how many people are still yet to come. As most tickets sold for the festival are for camping and other non-entry items, the company claims regular scanning statistics would not show true attendance.
BTV was one of two Untitled festivals to make DJ Mag's list, with Pitch Music & Arts breaking into the top 100 in 96th place.
Untitled also came in 12th position on Billboard Boxscore's mid-year promoter's list grossing US$51.5 million across its events with total attendance of 542,000 across 87 shows.
This compares to US$2.2 billion across more than 2,000 shows for Ticketmaster's owner Live Nation, and US$79.9 million across 416 shows for Ticketek owner TEG Group based in Sydney.
Untitled Group founders Filippo Palermo, Nicholas Greco, Michael Christidis and Christian Serrao won the Arts & Culture category at the 2024 Melbourne Young Entrepreneur Awards, and featured in the 2025 Australia's Top 100 Young Entrepreneurs list.
