SUPERLOOP HEADS TO HONG KONG

SUPERLOOP (ASX: SLC) is deepening its Hong Kong connection, after receiving another tick of approval.

The Brisbane telecommunications infrastructure provider has been granted a Unified Carrier Licence (UCL) by the Office of Communications Authority in Hong Kong, which allows the provision of internal fixed telecommunications services.

The company can now tackle the lucrative Hong Kong first by building, then operating and providing its services.

Superloop has a dual focus of creating a 130 kilometre fibre network down Australia's east coast, and also expanding its Asian network out from Singapore.

The company has identified underlying market dynamics and customer demand in Asia is ripe for high-speed data services.
