STOKES WHEELER BUILDS A SENSE OF FAMILY

STOKES WHEELER BUILDS A SENSE OF FAMILY

WITH a construction portfolio spanning education, hospitality and tourism, Stokes Wheeler was the perfect choice to develop an aged care facility with a resort-style atmosphere.

Jeta Gardens Residential Care Facility in Bethania has been built to foster a sense of community among residents, catering to 72 beds across three levels.

Each level comprises two separate wings with a total of six 'homes' each equipped with kitchen, dining area, lounge and balconies.

The project also encompassed a range of extra services for Jeta Gardens, as well as administration offices, reception, cafe, function rooms and a hairdresser.

Stokes Wheeler utilised a combination of external surface finishes which blend seamlessly, including exotic cladding, metal wall claddings, rendered surfaces and feature metalwork.

The contemporary design extends indoors with earthy and dark tones, soft furnishings and window coverings adding to the homely feel.

The result is welcoming and timeless, ensuring quality of life for the community in the future and making Stokes Wheeler a deserving winner of the Community Accommodation for Aged Care and Nursing Homes award, at the Master Builders Brisbane Housing & Construction Awards.
