Secret Sounds co-founder Jessica Ducrou will partner with Untitled on her new touring venture Black Peach.

One of the most influential figures in the Australian live music industry is joining forces with the country's largest independently-owned music and events company, as Secret Sounds co-founder Jessica Ducrou partners with Untitled Group to launch her new touring venture Black Peach.

The announcement comes just over a year after Ducrou stepped down from her long-held CEO role at Secret Sounds, a company that was majority acquired by US-based Live Nation in 2016 and is known for such iconic music institutions as Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, Harvest Rock, Homebake, Secret Sounds Touring, and Village Sounds.

The collaboration will focus on delivering international touring artists across Australia, complementing Untitled’s pipeline of global talent through its flagship festivals and tours.

Untitled is behind such events as Beyond the Valley, Wildlands, Grapevine, Ability Fest and Pitch Music & Arts, and also runs its own domestic and international touring division, talent agency Proxy, and influencer marketing agency Underscore.

The parties believe a strategic alignment between Untitled’s expansive festival network and Ducrou’s deep industry experience promise to create more world-class live music experiences for Australian audiences.

"We’re honoured to be working alongside someone as respected and experienced as Jess. Her contribution to the Australian live music landscape is something we’ve long admired. Welcoming her into this new chapter with Untitled feels like a natural collaboration," says Untitled Group co-founder and managing partner Nicholas Greco.

Greco's sentiment is echoed by Ducrou.

"I’m super excited to partner with Untitled Group, contributing to their already impressive touring roster of artists," she says.

"An amazing company that I have admired greatly from afar, I am very much looking forward to collaborating with Nick and the team who share a like-minded passion for artist development, bold ideas and innovation. Good times ahead!"

This announcement follows a milestone year for Untitled Group, which continue to cement its position as leaders in the global music space. The company was recently ranked 12th on Billboard’s Top Promoters Worldwide, and both Pitch Music & Arts and Beyond The Valley were named in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Festivals globally.
