Aerotruth, a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform streamlining the B2B partnership process, has this week closed a $1.3 million oversubscribed seed funding round.

The raise, led by Archangel Ventures with participation from Afterwork Ventures, Black Sheep Capital, Change Com, Cut Through Angels, Spring Capital and Unlock Capital, will accelerate the company’s global growth plans.

Co-founded by CEO Michael Liu and CCO Bryce Currie, Aerotruth is a partner tech platform that speeds up the B2B partnership process for fintechs, banks and other financial institutions.

Since the platform’s launch in May of this year, the company has already singed up more than 40 financial institutions that are based in 25 different countries.

These users tap into Aerotruth’s platform which facilitates initial partnership introductions and simplifies the document exchange and communications processes to enable customers to accelerate their pathway to revenue from partnerships.

According to CEO Liu, Aerotruth users have shortened onboarding processes by ‘months’ after using the platform.

“I am delighted with the quality and experience of the investor group we have assembled,” said Liu, who is based in Melbourne.

“Our investors share and support Aerotruth’s vision of being the pre-eminent online partnership tool for the global financial services industry.

“With this latest round of funding, Aerotruth looks forward to implementing more technology to further improve the partnering process for our customers.”

Archangel Ventures managing partner Ben Armstrong said Aerotruth was filling a communications gap in the financial services space.

“I’ve spent a lot of time in my career doing business development - helping identify, form and monitor new revenue-generating business relationships,” Armstrong said.

“We immediately saw the opportunity to bring more technology to solve this multifaceted problem in the financial services vertical.

“Aerotruth proved they can help some of the largest fintech players across the globe solve these problems while operating a distributed team out of Australia, New Zealand and Asia.”
