NEW CHAPTER FOR FAMILY FIRM A DECADE ON

DA FAMILY Lawyers has celebrated a decade in practice, with director Deborah Awyzio (pictured) announcing that the firm's 10th year also heralds an expansion of the firm's services.

A mediation branch of the law firm will be formally launched in the coming months, involving a full renovation of the current office space and a bolstering of the client base.

"I am excited to be commencing my next venture in the industry through the mediation avenue," says Awyzio.

The veteran family lawyer and current presidential candidate for the Queensland Law Society says she couldn't be happier that her firm has grown at the fast and steady pace it has.

"Ten years has meant moving from just myself and one admin staff member to four lawyers and five admin staff," says Awyzio.

"The flexibility and self-satisfaction working for myself and delivering a service that I am proud of is second to none."

At a recent event celebrating the milestone, the DA Family team managed to raise a total of $4000 for Hummingbird House, a charity focused on providing respite care for life-limited children and support for their families.
