MELBOURNE born-and-bred tech giant, LiveTiles (ASX: LVT), will establish its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Geelong, Victoria, in a move which will create 500 jobs.

The development will create 500 jobs in tech support for LiveTiles' major clients, including the US Department of Defence.

The new Geelong hub joins its already established offices in New York, London, and Los Angeles.

LiveTiles' success is based on its tech support products which allow users to create workplace software using simple drag and drop functionality.

LiveTiles will partner with local universities, TAFEs and secondary schools on collaborative innovation projects to facilitate career opportunities for tech graduates.
