LHD Lawyers has acquired the personal injury practice of Holding Redlich for an undisclosed sum, in a move its managing director John Abouchrouche describes as a "significant milestone" for the national plaintiff personal injury firm as part of its growth strategy.
The acquisition of Redlich's Work Injury Lawyers, known as Redlich's, will take effect on 1 July, bringing across its portfolio of personal injury matters and welcoming eight lawyers and 17 staff from the company's Melbourne office
"We are proud to continue building a national network of personal injury and total and permanent disability professionals who share our commitment to client care and results-focused legal practice," says Abouchrouche.
"“We look forward to welcoming Redlich’s clients and people to LHD, and to ensuring their matters are pursued with the same dedication and excellence they have experienced to date."
LHD Lawyers CEO James Bodel says the acquisition is part of the firm's broader vision to grow a strong, sustainable national business that is built on integrity, opportunity, and long-term value.
"We are focused on expanding our footprint in key markets, investing in our people, and ensuring our firm continues to evolve in ways that meet the changing needs of clients and communities across Australia," Bodel says.
Holding Redlich national managing partner Troy Lewis says the acquisition will enable Redlich’s to realise its full potential.
"It’s critical for the future success of our personal injury practice that it is part of a specialised national plaintiff litigation firm," he says.
"Importantly for Redlich’s clients and people, the values and cultures of our firms align closely – a commitment to advocacy, justice and the very best client care."
Prior to the acquisition taking effect, the Melbourne office of Holding Redlich comprises 185 people including 16 partners.
