IN GOOD STEAD

FLYNN McFarlane and Adam Stead have turned their passion for digital marketing into a burgeoning business with a bright future.

Starting out as Hive Web Studio in 2008, the pair have outgrown their home office and subsequent digs to set up shop in Labrador with six staff members.

The company rebranded as Stead Lane after diversifying its services to become more marketing-centric.

"We're very much at the forefront of technology and innovation in terms of online marketing trends," says McFarlane.

"We're doing a lot of videos, as well as advanced and predictive analytics, to track customers and get data from the whole customer journey."

Stead Lane also participated in Gold Coast City Council's Business Accelerator Program, inspiring McFarlane and Stead to focus on sustaining long-term growth.
