HIGH-FLYERS TAKE OFFICE PARTY TO THE NEXT LEVEL

BUSINESS News Australia's Gold Coast team took their end-of-year celebrations to new heights, as the crew suited up for a session at iFly Indoor Skydiving in Surfers Paradise.

Managing director Camilla Jansen, alongside team members Karen, Kim and James donned the signature blue and orange jumpsuits before launching into two rounds in the state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnel.

The maverick news squad floated on artificially generated wind speeds of up to 195km/h, before taking a daring trip to the top of the tunnel alongside their iFly instructor.

Jansen said the experience was second to none and provided a unique way to blow off steam with her staff following a busy year.

"My team and I wanted to do something a little bit different for our office party this year, and we decided that an indoor skydiving session definitely fit that description," says Jansen.

"After a couple of sessions in the wind tunnel I think everyone was hooked on the sensation, and the best part - we didn't have to jump out of a plane.

"I think it's safe to say we'll be going back for more."

iFly offers a range of packages suited to corporate and team building groups, all of which are available to view on the website.
