BRISBANE entrepreneur Louisa Dyson is making a service once only at the fingertips of the rich and famous mainstream.
Her business, Alice + Albert, is Brisbane's newest personal concierge service helping busy people get organised.
Dyson says the idea isn't new, but her version offers more affordability.
She had the idea just over a year following nine years working corporate life.
"I love lists, particularly crossing things off them, so if I could help other people with theirs and make a living out of it then I felt like I was winning," says Dyson
"It's a huge market in the UK and US and a growing market in Australia. I wanted to make my mark early while there was an opportunity."
Dyson says Alice + Albert can help anyone, no matter how big, small or crazy the task. The business offers two levels of support: personal concierge and a home butler service.
She says current clients are asking for help with mail and diary management, researching everyday expenses, shopping, cooking, house and pet sitting, and home organisation including de-cluttering, interior design and styling.
For general housekeeping, the home butler service starts at $55 per hour.
"We hire personal trainers, nutritionists and therapists to help improve upon and keep our lives on track, so why not personal concierges and home butlers?" says Dyson.
Looking to the future, Dyson wants to expand Alice + Albert into other major cities.
She is currently developing an app to make the service more accessible to prospective clients.
