AN UNFORGETTABLE BUSINESS IDEA

HAVING acquired a taste for exclusive five-star events, Samantha Davies decided to take on the task of helping Aussies pop the question in the most luxurious and memorable way possible.

Unforgettable Proposals was created in 2013 and is the first high-end proposal planning service in the country.

"Working in a number of five-star hotels, I was constantly asked to put together proposals for couples coming to stay and I thought there has to be someone that can arrange these events for men," Davies says.

"My passion has always been in the field of planning beautiful events."

The novel nature of the business has been a boom, with Davies securing national media exposure. Davies also has been approached by producers looking to make a reality show for television around her business.

"My promise is to deliver a seamless and memorable proposal, so it is my job to provide every couple a unique and breathtaking moment," she says.

"The marriage proposal is a moment couple's treasure forever so there is a lot of pressure to get it right, but it is definitely the most rewarding job in the world."

Davies says she discovered the entrepreneur within while studying at Bond University four years ago.

"I have never been one to work a 9-5 role, I am constantly thinking about new and innovative business ideas and helping other generation Y's to turn their passion into a career," she says.

"I am a big believer in taking a risk and doing what you love."
