A 12-storey luxury apartment project at Coolangatta’s Rainbow Bay has received council approval, giving developers Chapter Two the green light to proceed with the $110 million build.
Chapter Two, a development group led by former corporate property players Jon Quayle and Oliver Bagheri, will now deliver the project called ‘Holm’, located on a prime site at 44-50 Eden Avenue in the Point Danger precinct overlooking Snapper Rocks.
Holm will comprise 86 apartments over 12 levels with most apartments offering a trifecta of panoramic views of the ocean, river and the Gold Coast hinterland.
Chapter Two will deliver the project in partnership with Summa Group, with Holm the duo’s third joint venture on the Gold Coast after Callista Palm Beach and the Eden Collection in Tugun.
Set to rise on the 1,924sqm site, the development will deliver a mix of apartments that will comprise two or three-bedrooms, with the option to add an additional multi-purpose room.
There will also be two townhouses on the site and a courtyard unit located on the ground flood.
Chapter Two director Jon Quayle says Holm has been designed to echo its surrounds, bringing together luxury amenities with sophisticated coastal living.

The development will also incorporate a top-floor residents’ club that will include an ocean view infinity-edge pool, spa, sauna and steam room, as well as a modern gymnasium and yoga deck, an outdoor dining area with barbecue facilities and a fire pit.
Acknowledging the changing way Australians live and work, Holm will also include a dedicated work-from-home area with private office studios, a library and a function space.
Plus Architecture is behind the design of the building as well as its interiors in collaboration with Form Landscape Architects.
“The apartments have been designed to appeal to owner occupiers, including downsizers who are looking for a lock up and leave lifestyle,” Plus Architecture director Danny Juric said.
