RED HOT COLD ROCK

THE franchisor behind the Cold Rock Ice Creamery and Mr Whippy brands has moved its Queensland support office from the Gold Coast to Brisbane.

Franchised Food Company (FFCo) is continuing its restructure of Cold Rock Ice Creamery with plans to open a further 15 stores in the next 12 months.

Business manager Michelle Sprenger, says none of the company’s seven Gold Coast stores will be affected by the move. Stores are located in prime locations such as Q1 and on Goodwin Terrace, Burleigh Point.

“The new office gives us room to grow given our plans to expand by 15 stores in the next 12 months,” she says.

“The office is more central and gives Cold Rock a better presence in Queensland, and also makes our business support team more accessible to franchisees.

“We are putting more emphasis on business support to help our franchisees achieve their goals. The old Cold Rock didn’t have the business support structure that it has now.”

FFCo has appointed three new business support managers who will assist with marketing, training and induction and ensuring the consistency and strength of the Cold Rock brand.
