FOREST Place Group (ASX:FPG) has appointed a new board member as it rebrands.
The Brisbane retirement and aged care facility developer will be officially known as Aveo Healthcare Limited (ASX:AEH) on the stock exchange from tomorrow.
The company already operates under the AVEO brand, licenced from FKP Property Group (ASX:FKP), which is also FPG’s largest shareholder.
“Rebranding the Group to ‘Aveo Healthcare’ better aligns the group with its customer facing brand and positions it to better promote and expand the services it offers,” says the company in a statement.
Meanwhile, Royal District Nursing Service CEO, adjunct professor Stephen Muggleton (pictured) has been appointed to the FPG board as an independent, non-executive director.
FPG’s existing portfolio comprises 1,028 independent living units, 252 assisted living units and 25 aged care beds. FPG has plans for approximately 326 new units.
