EMERCHANTS Limited (ASX: EML) has signed an agreement with corporate bookmaker bet365 to provide customers with reloadable winnings cards.
The cards are planned for roll out in the first half of 2015, pending approval from EML’s sponsoring Authorised Deposit-Taking Institution (ADI).
EML managing director Tom Cregan has spoken recently to Brisbane Business News about the company’s increasing focus on its reloadable component.
“By financial year 2014, reloadables went to about five per cent of payments and we expect this to grow to in excess of 50 per cent by financial year 2015,” says Cregan.
The agreement with bet365 will be multi-year. Cregan anticipates bet365’s scope will be a boon for EML.
“bet365 is a significant corporate bookmaker in Australia and the bet365 group has a substantial global presence,” he says.
“bet365 will be a key partner for Emerchants in the future and we look forward to working closely together with the team.”
