CHARITY BALL RAISES $90,000

BRUCE Lynton Prestige Automotive raised more than $90,000 for Queensland charities at its Bruce Lynton Charity Ball in April this year.

The ball attracted 540 guests to the RACV Royal Pines Resort, receiving support from both local and interstate businesses.

The funds raised from auctions at this year's charity ball will go to Cancer Council Queensland, Guide Dogs Queensland, Surf Life Saving and Youngcare.

Beric Lynton, Dealer Principal of Bruce Lynton Prestige Automotive (pictured), says “the Bruce Lynton Charity Ball received fantastic support through the donation of silent and grand auction items, for which we cannot thank businesses enough.”

The charity ball was hosted by media personalities Moyra Major and Paul Burt with headline act Dale Ryder, the charismatic front man of Boom Crash Opera and Jason Singh, lead singer for ARIA award winning band, Taxiride.

The annual event is one of the largest on the Gold Coast social calendar. It has raised more than $1.4 million for local charities over the past 13 years.
